Business English

Business English, Cultural Training, and Career Coaching

Language learning and cultural adjustment when moving to the US are an ongoing process. Most English classes stop at about the intermediate level and leave out what you need to succeed professionally and to build relationships.  We provide training and customized experiences to help you better understand the nuances of American English and to move to the next level in your career.  We offer online courses and limited in person classes in the St. Louis area.  Below is a list of some of the topics covered.  If you don't see what you want, contact us at instructionalcoordinator@gmail.com, and we can create a course that meets your needs.

For Work :

  • English for Presentations

  • Having Difficult Conversations at Work in English

  • English for Casual Conversations at Work

  • English for AI Prompting

  • Understanding Humor and Cultural References in the Workplace

  • Interviewing and Salary Negotiation

  • Networking in the US

Finding a Job in the US

Often when you first move to the US, you can't always find a job in the same industry that you did in your country. Getting new licenses and translating your experience into something businesses here understand can be difficult.  If you need help moving into a job that better suits your experience and needs, career coaching might be right for you.

What is Career Coaching?

When you meet with a career coach, we

  • Assess your skills and interests.

  • Evaluate your previous work experience and licenses.

  • Match you with skills training if needed.

  • Perfect your resume.

  • Connect you with professionals in the field.

  • Give you guidance in the job-search process.

Check back for more details in June 2026 when we'll start offering this service.
